Comments
Very nice recording of the Tampa show, in a very quite empty outdoor stadium in the rain. So Bono calls the audience the "die-hards". He also adds some bits of The Fly's lyrics to Discothèque. Sound is slightly distant, but still excellent and clear, with pretty good crispness.
Anyway, the recording is not flawless. Some degradation/distortion is audible on a few songs, such as Even Better or Staring at the Sun. It is more noticeable on New Year's Day, which is the more affected song by this issue. Sound shifts channels during Where the Streets Have No Name, lasting the process a few seconds. Anyway, a great recording of a very standard PopMart show.
