Comments

A very good show the day after INXS' singer Michael Hutchence passed away, a very close guy to U2. His death caused the band to put on a quite emotional concert in San Antonio (Texas). Sound quality is really nice in this recording, a pretty clean one, although the dome acoustics make it to bring a very muddy low-end. Audience noise is audible near the taper, but never too distracting. Soft clapping and some individual voices are noticeable here and there, as a result. Vocals are somewhat echoed due to dome reverb. However, the recording still is very clear and sharp with music and vocals well upfront. Some lines of MLK pop up at the end of Staring at the Sun.
