Comments
Nice quality for this hard-to-find recording. Sound is a bit harsh, but still quite clear. Anyway, this item lacks a bit of overall crispness and clarity. It also lacks a more punch in the bass. Music and vocals are a little distant but highly audible and listeneable. There is a slight background noise, more audible in the quieter parts of the concert. Finally, there are tiny marks (rough transitions) between the tracks. To sum up, nice and very good audience recording considering its rarity. I know some may consider this one as "VG audience recording", as some parts of the show really border with this rating.
About minors, two skips can be heard in Still Haven't Found, first one at 02:33, and again at 02:54. A noticeable dropout occurs at 2:16 during the Lemon Intermission played over the PA. A last dropout can be found at 01:27 in One.
The show is outstanding. Some verses of Dirty Old Town are sung by Bono after Pride. Slow Dancing makes a rare appearance in the setlist, nicely played from the mini-stage. Bad includes some bits of Lou Reed's Wak on the Wild Side. Discothèque includes some verses of The Fly. However, the most amazing part of the show is the full-band rendition of Mothers of the Disappeared, which includes some lines of El Pueblo Vencerá.
